Where we are
The Scottish Countryman’s centre is located at Hammer Inn near Wormiston by Crail in the East Neuk of Fife.
We are 8 miles from St Andrews on the A917, half way between the Kingsbarns Distillery and Crail.
Getting here by car
Put The Scottish Countryman into Google Maps before you set off. That’ll give you our exact location at Hammer Inn and you can then send the details to your phone to keep you right.
Otherwise…SATNAV to post code KY10 3XQ; grid reference NO605092. The post code covers a few places round here, so look for the Wormiston turnoff a mile before Crail on the A917. You’ll this Scottish Countryman sign (below) at the turn-in for our centre.
In order to prepare the birds for our bird of prey and owl experiences, we only take advance bookings but you are most welcome to call us on 07801 544 124 to see if we have any same-day availability left.
By public transport
We are on the Fife Stagecoach bus route number 95 with a designated stop right outside the property. Click on the map to access the bus timetable from St Andrews.
Ask the driver to let you off at Hammer Inn, half way between Kingsbarns and Crail and 1 mile from each place. There are buses every hour and the journey from St Andrews takes about 20 minutes.

Your exclusive experience means you'll have plenty of time to ask your questions, take photographs and just enjoy the countryside scenery at Hammer Inn. Our experiences last from approximately 45 minutes to just over two hours, depending on which experience you book and how many people are in your party.
